Meet Sky. Over the past two years, they have faced more hardship than anyone should ever have to endure.

At the end of 2024, Sky was hospitalized for a serious condition, spending nearly a month in the hospital. While they were there, their cherished cat passed away suddenly, adding heartbreak to an already difficult time. Just as Sky began to recover, the new year brought another challenge: a cancer diagnosis. Despite their strength and resilience, the emotional and financial toll of treatment has been overwhelming. 

In the fall of last year, their brother was killed unexpectedly, adding to the list of emotional turmoil. These sudden tragedies have left Sky struggling with serious depression, and they are now trying to save money for both cancer and mental health treatment. Recently, their car broke down, and with so much of their finances going toward medical care, Sky can afford a cheap car, but as a token of support and love, I would like them to be able to buy a better car—something they would enjoy and that would last, not just something to get them by until they have to buy another.

Each setback has made it harder for Sky to move forward, but they continue to fight for a future filled with hope and healing.
